Everyone here is right. Helmets protect you they also kill you. I've got nearly 60,000miles of road under me in the last 5 years. I was hit by a drunk drive 4 years ago my head hit the pavemet and I was wearing a full face helmet that likely saved my life, so I do know what can happen. I have 5 count them 5 personal helmets 2 fulls 1 three quarter and 2 halves. Helmet laws suck, plain and simple. It should be an indivudals decision if they want to wear one. As for sun burn. I went cruising for 200+ miles yesterday along the beach with my friends and my face is neon red. I know what the sun can do but I choose the be there in it the same way a sunbather does. Human are ment to be OUTSIDE in the natural world sun bun and death are just a part of life. Just because we can invent helmets to protect us dosent mean we must wear them. If you want to the by all means do. Your still welcome to ride in my group and share luch with us. But don't force your views of me man. The last time I checked that was a form fo facism. Don't try to save someone who doesent need it or want it.
PS for thoes of you wondering no I do not have a death wish. Yes I do wear my full face (aka the bubble). And no I don't want to wear my full face helmet to today just because it raining.
